     I started making a game with irregularly shaped walls in Bitsy 3D, and quickly realized how huge the time sink would be, as well as how awkward it felt to navigate. This isn't anything against this incredible tool, I'm trying to use it in a way it really wasn't meant for. In order for limitations to fuel creativity, we have to understand where those limits are, and this is my discovery of one.

     Bitsy 3D Color https://bitsy3d.xyz/, created by https://aloelazoe.itch.io/ and https://aurysystem.itch.io/ , is the most accessible tool for 3D game creation, period.

     The other 2 tools which I mention are https://crocotile3d.com/ for a similar tile-based 3D workflow (much expanded, with immense QoL upgrades) and https://adventurecreator.org/ for an immensely powerful no-code 3D adventure game engine that relies on a drop-down, fill-in-the-blank interface similarly to Bitsy. However, these tools are $30 and $80 dollar one time payments respectively, and will have a slightly higher learning curve.

     I suppose when it comes to the game development desires of "Free, Intuitive, and Powerful" you can really only pick two. Thanks for reading.

I like this meditation on environment and experience, but the shape of the main room was a nice touch too.

Heh ^^;

Thanks for taking a look!
